The Wrap 11/11/10

{+++}Stocks managed to slash losses, but still settled in the red following another gain by the greenback and disappointing guidance from Dow component Cisco last night.After the close tonight, DIS and NVDA were the most notable names that reported.

Five of ten sectors ended in negative territory, led by tech (-1.8%), financials (-0.9%), and telecom (-0.7%).

Tomorrow morning before the open, no economic reports are scheduled to be released.

Tomorrow before the open look for the following companies to report: A, CPC, CTFO, CIE, DHI, JCP, STRI, and WEN.

Chinese online business-to-business platform operator Alibaba.com  said Thursday its third-quarter net profit rose 55% from a year earlier due to growth in subscribers and their use of value-added services. This may be good for you BIDU holders tomorrow. This number came in around  7Pm EST.

The dollar had a nice rally today, but some oils and commodities rallied, we will see if there is continued follow through tomorrow. If not, expect a rally in the material/commodity sector.
