If you are like me, your head is ready to explode from the 24/7 election rhetoric. Thankfully it will be over tonight and we can maybe get back to normality to some degree.
Here is a stat that you may find interesting. post election, the market rallies either way: on average, equity markets have rallied 3% following close elections, 6% if challenger wins.
We will see if this holds true, but it does make sense. The main reason is that a major blanket of uncertainty will be lifted.
Good luck to all. I didn’t trade much at all yesterday other than a few trades to stay busy. My gut tells me though, to be slanting long into tomorrow, regardless of the political outcome.
