Flat Day

Dow: +9.86…
Nasdaq: -22.30… S&P: -5.41…

Equities ticked down today, and the energy sector tumbled 1.3% in its worst one-day performance since July 6. Just about all energy components finished in negative territory.

XLE closed down 1.4% and XOP ( exploration & production) was down 3.5%. It’s still hard to trust energy at this point and seems like they would rather sell rallies than commit to the sector at this point.

Biotech lost about 1/2%.

Not much to report today at all.
