We continue to chop around within that box and we will for another day or two as the Fed and the BOJ do what they do best on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
Probably the most significant event for me today was that biotech, (specifically XBI), finally broke out above some key lateral resistance. That’s a positive “risk on” event for stocks , but it will be important now for it to hold gains.
IBB is close behind, and if the wind can blow the right way, it too looks ready for a breakout. Biotech needed a little rest today, as it has been moving up the last several days.
