Morning Market Look

googling

Futures are flattish to slightly red this morning.

It looks likes Twitter is leaning towards a NYSE listing and Alibaba is look at a U.S. listing too as China listing talks are faltering.

How fast things change. The 10 year note has fallen from 3% to 2.66% and HBSC is out with a call for a 2.1% yield in 12 months. Personally I would lay a lot of wood on that call, but interesting nonetheless.

The $SPX and $DJIA are down four days in a row.

We are all familiar with a herd of cows, a flock of chickens, a school of fish and a gaggle of geese. Now consider a group of baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons? Believe it or not … a Congress!

The grandstanding should be epic in the coming week.
