{+++}We took profits today om MOS plus about $5.00 (one week hold) and we sold 2/3 of TSCT for about 18% for a 24 hour hold. Smoke em’ if you got em’ as they say. They may run a bit more, but yours truly, forever the market skeptic, will take some fast money when it presents itself.
Gold made more highs and has been “up” 20 of the last 22 days. I am looking at DZZ seriously now as a long, it’s the double short ETF for gold. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet though.
Bank of America announced after the close that they will pay back TARP, they will issue about $18 million in securities soon. It’s mega dilutive and I would run the other way. It still may get a knee jerk bump though.
The financials were heavy today and Moody’s came out negative on the group and said they will need to raise more loot, I’ve been saying that for a year for those that have been around that long. This comes on the heels of a downgrade of the sector by JP Morgan yesterday. They still look heavy to me. They can pay back TARP all day long, their model is broken.
