Five Plays For 2013

Last year, I was asked to post my favorite long and my favorite short. My favorite long was $WLT  (-42%) and my best short was $MCP (+60%)

This year I was asked the same question, and I picked $SRPT as my favorite long and $TLT as my favorite short.

Anyway, here are five additional names that I also like.

$SNTS -My subscribers and I have been long this since about 10 bucks. You almost have to use a monthly chart on this one to see that it has recently taken out six and seven year highs. I see 15-20 by year end.

$DDD – This could possibly be the $MLNX of 2013. Yes, it’s extended, but momentum cab stay with these names for quite a while as long as the fundies don’t go south. My hope is to print out several Kate Uptons by year end.

$RAX -This is probably the year that cloud explodes and you will see more M&A. I think $RAX goes north of a hundred.

$WLT – They say you cant go back, but I’m doing it anyway. I think the worst is over for the coal names and this may finally be the turnaround for WLT.

$CSOD – I’ve traded this one a lot his year, but I think this is the year CSOD will attract more institutional ownership. Cloud play that could double.
