Ford Beats

white house1 300x179 Ford BeatsThe White House went orange in celebration of Halloween this weekend, so I’m wondering when we will switch to a  lovely reddish hue in celebration of our suffocating debt. I strongly support a color scheme for our deficit and out of control spending. I think something in a nice magenta every time we add another $500 billion and maybe something rainbowish when we add a trillion. At the very least, Geithner should wear a clown suit when we tag these milestones.

Ford beat their number and said that they would be solidly profitable in 2011. Good for them as they didn’t have to dip into my wallet to do it. Futures are up a bit and the dollar is lower. Bernanke speaks Wednesday and unemployment figures arrive on Friday.

I’m watching 1020, then 1002 as S&P support. Have a great week.
